Bitossi Home: bio bamboo collection

Bitossi Diffusione is an affiliation of the group, Gruppo Colorobbia which operates in the household items sector. This company started nearly forty years ago when the first chinese clients of Colorificio Ceramico Colorobbia, paid them with vases and chinese crockery in exchange for glaze supplies (materials used to produce ceramic tiles),which were promtly presented on the market. These products were an unexpected success which convnced the founder of the group Gruppo Colorobbia to decide to invest in this sector. And this was how this company ventured into this area of tables, tableware, and complementary household furnishings, becaming one of the most important Italian distributors of the best brand names around the world. In 2007 they decided to take an important strategic decision embarking down a new road,that was creating their own brand name called, 'Bitossi Home'. The aim was to interprete,to their best, the contemporary market's requirements and trends which was in continual evolution.
Bio Home is the new colored collection made of bamboo plant, a natural woody plant that grows spontaneously without pesticides or chemicals. More, the removal of its stumps allows an easier planting and a new forests regrowth. The material created is toxic and pollution free, durable, recyclable and compostable because totally biodegradable.

Bitossi Diffusione è una società del Gruppo Colorobbia che opera nel settore degli oggetti per la casa. L'azienda nacque quasi 40 anni fa quando uno dei primi clienti cinesi del Colorificio Ceramico Colorobbia, ripagò le forniture di smalti per produrre piastrelle ceramiche, con vasi e stoviglie cinesi che furono inviate in Italia e vennero prontamente proposte al mercato. Fu un successo inaspettato che portò il fondatore del Gruppo Colorobbia, a voler investire il questo campo e iniziare l’avventura nel settore della tavola e del complemento d’arredo diventando uno dei più importanti distributori italiani dei migliori marchi del mondo. Nel 2007 viene addotatta la scelta strategica di intraprendere una strada propria creando il marchio Bitossi Home con il fine di interpretare al meglio le esigenze e le tendenze del mercato contemporaneo in continua mutazione.
Bio Home è la nuova colorata collezione realizzata con la fibra di bamboo, pianta che cresce spontanea in grandissime quantità senza bisogno di concimi. Il materiale ottenuto è atossico e non inquinante, resistente, riciclabile e compostabile perchè completamente biodegradabile.
