Arredoluce is back | Italian Design

Arredoluce is an iconic Italian brand collecting masterpieces of lighting design from 1943 to 1986. Founded by Angelo Lelii, the collection included works by Gio Ponti, Ettore Sottsass, Nanda Vigo, Achille e Piergiacomo Castiglioni, Vico Magistretti and Angelo Lelii himself.

Arredoluce will be back soon thanks to Penta Light, who bought the brand to make it shining again. Andrea Citterio, CEO of Gruppo Penta Light, announced that ARREDOLUCE Milano 1943, will be presented at Euroluce 2019 with the first 10 re-editions and that the collection will grow under the creative direction of Nicola Gallizia.
A new showroom will be opened in via San Damiano 2, Milano.

Alessandro Padoan + Alessandro Palmaghini, founders of Fragile design gallery, have done a great work for the re-discovering of the heritage of ARREDOLUCE from 2015, contributing with Anty Pansera, to the ultimate book “ARREDOLUCE Catalogo ragionato 1943 - 1987”, Silvana editoriale 2018.
