Fem Vibes | Womens Day

I read an article about women rights that made me think so much. It was about the importance of growing up feminist kids, expecially if boys, and of marrying a feminist man that makes the difference. I've never fight for womens rights because I was lucky, I grew up in an egalitarian family. I didn't need to fight 'cause I tought it was normal. I think my father was a feminist, even if he didn't know. Now I know so many different women's stories, and I wish they can have a feminist family, too.
I wish no one had need to fight but could just BE FREE TO JUST BE.

LOVE Moodboard | 4/15

01: Gentoo penguins, Elliott Neep | 02: Daily quote | 03: Send someone a love letter (do you know someone sad or lonely and a way to make her/him happy? Well read on the bottom*) | 04: Inspiring lettering.

* These words don't mean to me write a letter instead of an email but they remind me of the enchanting movie Amélie - Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain. One day Amelie, a lonely waitress living in Paris, decides to do little thing to change the lives of those around her for the better. And so ... Amelie steals Madame Wells's (her sulking concierge who mourns the death of her cheating husband) old letters from her husband and cleverly creates a new letter in which he apologizes to his wife for his infidelity. After receiving the false letter, Madame Wells is overjoyed with the news that her husband loved her after all. More, to push her father to follow his dream of touring the world, Amelie steals his garden gnome and having a flight attendant friend airmail pictures of it posing with landmarks from all over the world, lol. More and more about the movie.

Now, look around you, think well and be careful because it might be “dangerous”, but if you find out how to give a positive input to the life of someone lonely and/or sad around you, why not?

Moodboard | 2/15

I know that a minimalism challenge should not be associated with some shopping wishes (point 16 - don't buy anything for 24h) but the Jacobsen chairs perfectly fit with point 5 (Identify your 3 to 6 main priority) (both, yes!), the navy sweater is necessary for point 30 (Evaluate your last five purchases) (I remember only four so I need a fifth purchase to remember) (to be serious, I remember only two - the two chairs - ...really!) and flowers are flowers, they always help the mind and they could fit with point 24 (Practice gratitude). Have a nice monday.

The Agitator | I'm Charlie

I know this is a design blog but I can't act as if nothing happened. I know that something even worst happens everyday somewhere. Let's stop today. The words 'Je suis Charlie' sound so sweet against so much violence that I ache.

Christmas good energy | Secret Santa

This Christmas I wish you all  (...ok,) we all could spread good energy around. I just read the story of Secret Santa here - there is also a pdf version for kids (ready to be printed and colored)....

"Larry Dean Stewart 1948 – 2007 was the creator and original Secret Santa. Through his personal example over a twenty year period, he demonstrated and defined the role and mission of Secret Santa.
"Secret Santa's" random acts of kindness over the years had an impact on people throughout the world who either were beneficiaries or who read in media reports his random acts of kindness and giving; especially three months before his death in January 2007 when his personal identity was made public." more

Here and here two last-minute nice inspiring stories to read!
See you next week with Christmas lunch and smart gift wrapping ideas:)
