Aarstiderne's køkkenhave at Normann Copenhagen

Aarstiderne's køkkenhave is a new book that I'm looking forward to read and experiment with (you know I'm vegetarian and I do love to cook and eat well)
The book - written by the gardener of Aarstiderne Frank van Beek, Chef and co-founder Søren Ejlersen and Jacob Dietz - is a tangible guide on how to grow your own food. The story is told with soil on the hands by a professional and two vegetable enthusiasts. It is crammed with priceless tips, tricks and hard-earned experiences from the garden, flower box and the kitchen.

Normann Copenhagen and Aarstiderne are throwing a book release for "Aarstiderne's køkkenhave" on 3rd of April (read here). You will meet the three authors of the book and you will "get your hands dirty and get home-grown vegetables on the table with the new book. There will be lots of inspiration on how to grow and cook with homegrown vegetables from your own garden or flower boxes. Meanwhile you can go exploring in the Normann Copenhagen Flagship Store and check out the newest trends in home décor and kitchenware. "

My Italian Christmas Food (short) List

I enjoy going shopping to the mall before Christmas. This year I found the beautiful gifts above: Bedetti Brick-Like Torrone and Stainer chocolate pralines. WOW!
As every Christmas in Italy, I also bought: handmade Panettone (to be a real Panettone, it has to follow these severe rules), Pandoro, Panforte and Spumante (I bought a special offer of the magnificent Rotari but here is a more extensive list).

SisterMAG 7: DIY Bookbinding

I talked you about the 7th and last issue of SisterMAG, the fab emagazine of Thea and Tony. I really enjoyed reading all contributors' works, I found lots of interesting and inspirational things!
If you haven't read it yet, take some time to do it here.
I expecially love this carefully detailed video tutorial - it's the first of the  new series 'DIY Bookbinding' - for a book with an open spine.
"You don't need any glue or endpapers, you only need acrylic plates as bookcovers. The cover design is printed on paper and you can download  it as a print PDF."
The design was made from illustrator Elisabeth Weber while Agentur Gretchen made the wonderful video. Great!

sister MAG - Issuu 4

SisterMAG is a new digital magazine for widely interested, active women. It will cover topics ranging from Career, Technology, Future Trends to Fashion, Lifestyle, Traveling and DIY. "Women's magazines have always mirrored social movements and developments in their content and foci of coverage. SisterMAG  want to target a group of females which has been neglected by traditional publishing houses and editorial departments: the many up-and-coming, well-educated, very active and independent women, which are enthusiastic for the digital world and want to be presented with new and exciting content in a visually appealing way."
SisterMAG wants to create a community of ambitious, like-minded and individual women, who want to inspire and help each other as well as enjoy each others company – whether it is in the digital or analogue world. SisterMAGAZINE is the idea of the sisters Toni and Thea. The magazine is an online flip-through magazine with content exclusively created and assembled for the digital purpose. The first issue launched on 24th February 2012. They are planning a 2 months publication schedule with a german and an english version.
Read it on Issuu.

Sandways, from Heart Home - summer 2012

Heart Home is a wonderful magazine, focused on British interior design, that you can read and download from Issuu. These photos, by Simon Eldon, are taken from the article 'Beach Life', written by  Kelly Lavender, on the summer 2012 edition.
The house on the cover is a cool seaside second home full of vintage furniture, a cottage in Camber Sands called Sandways and restored by the owners, Rebecca and Mark Partridge.
