Making the bottle in Murano, Italy |
Jean-Michel Othoniel - the famous French sculptor - was commissioned by
LVMH group to create the new limited-edition bottle for
Dior’s perfume,
J’Adore for this holiday season.
Othoniel's design start from the original bottle, releasing the necklace. Each bottle is a handblown glass made by masters of
Salviati - one of the historical glass factories on the island of Murano - Venice. The glass-bead top is embedded with specks of gold leaf and represents the universe. Only 300 pieces will be produced worldwide and each unique bottle has a numbered certificate of authenticity.
