The atelier designed by Robert Mallet-Stevens in 1927 for the brothers sculptors Martel in Paris is one of the precious jewels on sale in France
(between them, also Le Corbusier's Villa Stein in Vaucresson).
"This exceptional artist workshop is located of the ground floor of sculptors Jan and Joel Martel brothers' mansion, is Robert Mallet-Stevens' creation. The architect collaborated with Jean Prouvé and Louis Barillet's glassworker workshop to realize this property. The result is a beautiful absolute work of art, unique, as the building listed as Monument Historique has not been affected by any modification until its construction. It still has the original furnitures and decorations.
The impressive high ceiling (up to 6 meters) necessary to sculptors work and the different levels, unmodified, offer an extraordinary place for living of 171 sq.m." from Proprietes Parisiennes.
