The CUCOLORIS. Indeed, a phenomenally strange name for a piece of plywood with a number of oddly shaped holes cut into it. In staged reality, a CUCOLORIS might be set up in front of an artificial light source to create the pleasingeffect of sunlight streaming through the leaves of a tree.
Possibly named after the famed film director George Cukor, the CUCOLORIS is a wonderful object with an equally wonderful name.
ps: I stumbled on the CUCOLORIS reading COS Magazine AW13, why not using it to create a soft light in our space?
