Studio Esinam is a creative studio founded by art director and architect duo Josefine Lilljegren and Sebastian Gokah in the spring of 2013 and based in Sweden.
The studio's work is composed by three sections: prints, stories and space. In the pictures, the print serie Elevations, directed to capture the unique feeling of various cities around the world.
"What inspires us in our work is the curiosity and fascination for spaces with unique character.
Whether a small room, courtyard or city as a whole, there is a special feeling or atmosphere
to some spaces that’s hard to define but unquestionably there. The sense that the space has
a character of it’s own. This character or uniqueness is what we try to define and capture in
Another common denominator in all of our work is the search for the quality of space itself, as
a calm and balanced base in which life is allowed to happen. We think this quality is becoming
increasingly important as more and more information and impressions find their way into every
corner of our world. Creating a need for spaces that allow for more subtle experiences to surface."
