A renovated passive Brooklyn town house | Sarah Jefferys Design

"This project involved the complete gut renovation
of an existing 3000 square foot narrow townhouse in Park Slope, Brooklyn, including a new contemporary rear facade. A cedar screen extending over the rear glass façade provides privacy and modulates light and views of the neighborhood. Oiled wide plank floors, hand-crafted slatted cabinetry, frosted glass walls, playful tile work, bright yellow back painted glass panels and custom stone sink complete the unique, custom, contemporary interiors. We created an energy efficient, insulated, Passive house to create a quiet, comfortable interior environment which requires a minimum of heating and cooling."
