This fall, Normann Copenhagen opened the doors to the new showroom, a 1700mq combined flagship
store and showroom in Copenhagen completely renovated.
An experimental and artistic universe where Normann Copenhagen’s collection of furniture, lighting, textiles and home accessories is mixed with handpicked clothing and fashion items in carefully curated displays. The exhibitions change on a continual basis to show selected parts of the collection in new, inspiring constellations.
The 1700 m2 space of the Normann Copenhagen showroom comes with a great history. Previous residents include a water distillery, a theatre, a sound studio and a cinema. The showroom has been restored with respect for the historical surroundings, displaying the original stucco in the ceiling as well as beautiful reliefs and tall marbled beams. The classicist details are met by an eclectic mix of materials. Brushed steel, mirror glass, lively terrazzo and bold colors come together to create the unique, transformational space.
The inauguration of the showroom was celebrated with a grand opening party filled with design, tasty drinks, artistic food and not least many, many smiling faces!
