My Christmas 2011 window

I've just completed to decorate the window of my studio. This year I made a tree branch in two pieces: I sketched the form on cardboard, I cutted it and covered it with the most poetic page of newspaper I found. Then I hanged my silver decorations (you can easily make them yourself).

Ho appena finito di addobbare la finestra dello studio. Quest'anno ho costruito un ramo in due pezzi: prima ho disegnato la forma su un cartone di scarto, l'ho ritagliata e rivestita con una pagina di giornale - la più poetica che ho trovato. Poi ho appeso i decori a specchio e argento (se non li avete potete fare anche questi da soli con cartone e carta stagnola).

Crystallize is a project by the Jap designer Satsuki Oishi for the Italian Store La Rinascente. Using precious artisanal paper sheets, she recreates the apparently simple perfection of crystals.

These two ball pen, gold and argent, are an elegant limited edition produced by the historic Societe Bic to celebrate her 60 years. Inside they are filled with black and blue ink. At the price of only 3,00 euros the couple!

Le due penne a sfera, oro e argento, sono un'elegante edizione limitata prodotta dalla storica ditta Bic per festeggiare 60 anni di attività. All'interno hanno l'inchiostro nero, la penna argento, e blu, la penna oro. Non male per 3,00 euro entrambe!

These are the first decorations of Christmas 2011 I saw in the streets. Here I was in Forte dei Marmi and the beautiful trees were set by Mauro Volponi shop.

dENiZEN, shine a light for nature

The members of LICHTFAKTOR use light to give expression to their creativity. They take advantage of a variety of light sources to produce photos and videos in cities by night.

The Cologne artists’ collective, consisting of VJ $ehvermögen (photographer and VJ), Visionlabz (Programmer und VJ) and JIAR (communications designer and graffiti artist), experiments with the possibilities yielded by bulb (long-term) exposure and painting. Their aim is to explore all aspects of “lightwriting” and to develop it further. The LICHTFAKTOR crew intentionally uses the entire space in which a particular work is produced and integrates it into their photos and animated films in such a way that it’s not just a backdrop but a part of the work itself.

Pucci pendant Les journees particulieres 2011

Yesterday, I visited La villa Granaiolo d'Emilio Pucci en Toscane , open for the event Les journees particulieres held all arond Europe (mostly in France) by LVHM group. It was a beautiful Sunday, cold but sunny and I really appreciated the dessins and colors of fabrics that made Emilio Pucci, Marquis of Barsento famous.

My trip in Imola

 
Last Sunday, on a rainy day, I took a walk in Imola for the first time. I took some shots of the beautiful palette - from yellow to pink and orange - of walls and details in town, amazing!
